WHAT IS MISWAK?
It is a toothbrush stick, believed to be used for oral hygiene for over 7000 years. It combines the properties of both toothpaste and toothbrush to give you a completely natural and organic tooth-cleaning tool. Miswak is an Arabic word and other synonyms for it are "mswaki", "sewak", "misswak" and "siwak". Miswak is made from the stem or twig of different trees such as Arak, also known as "Salvadora persica". It has softened bristles on both ends that are used for cleaning teeth. Miswak not only removes plaque but also whitens your teeth. Different kinds of miswak are used according to the types of trees, such as olive miswak or peelu miswak. Each one has its advantages based on its contents and properties.
